Interview avec Linda Hinalys
This new Nobodinoz Talks is all about sweet moments, authenticity, and finding the perfect balance between passion and family life.
Meet @hinalys, pastry chef, food photographer, content creator, and mum to little Joy. Based in Paris, Linda traded her career as a dental prosthetist for the kitchen and camera, capturing life’s sweetest details. “Shared sweetness” is how she describes her family life, filled with laughter, creative cooking, and playful moments.
"I am Linda, known as Hinalys on Instagram. I started as a dental technician, but my passion for pastry and food photography led me to go full-time nine years ago. Today, I combine my roles as pastry chef, food photographer, and content creator, while also being a mother."
What is your background, and what led you to combine different roles such as chef, photographer, and content creator?
Dental technician at the start, then a career change: I seized the opportunity to live from my passion, turning a hobby into a profession.
Pastry chef & cake designer: I create unique cakes, such as floral wedding cakes, regularly published on my account, where visuals and indulgence are key.
Food photographer: my visuals enhance my recipes, reflecting my aesthetic and inspiring my community.
Content creator/influencer: I share recipes, travels, tips, and life moments, always with authenticity.

You’re also a mother: how many children do you have, how old are they, and how would you describe your family life today?
I have a daughter, Joy, who will be two years old in September.
With her and my partner, we create moments of sharing, laughter, and joyful stories.
What does a typical day look like for you, balancing family and professional life? Do you have a specific way of organizing to juggle both?
I adapt my days depending on photo shoots, cake orders, managing the house, and moments with my daughter.
Between preparing photo visuals, baking desserts, and spending quality family time, balance is an art I cultivate with care.

Is there an activity or a moment at home that your family particularly enjoys? A simple moment that feels good for everyone?
Cooking, of course. I grew up surrounded by it thanks to my parents, especially my father, who is a former chef.
My Asian values. I want to pass on to my daughter everything I’ve learned over time.
Taking the time to cook together, taste, and play is important!

How do you share your passion with them on a daily basis?
I choose recipes and bring them along in creating my culinary projects. Moments in stories/videos highlight their involvement and the joyful atmosphere.
What place does decoration have in your daily life, and what inspires you when imagining your interior?
Decoration plays an essential role: I love mixing textures, wood, and inspiring objects (flowers, placemats, dishes…). It reflects my warm universe and highlights my pastry creations while keeping the space welcoming for the family.
If you had to summarize your family adventure in one word or phrase, what would it be?
“Shared sweetness”: a word that illustrates the importance of cooking, family moments, and sharing at the heart of my daily life.
What advice would you like to share with the families in our community?
Make cooking a real family moment: share the making of a simple recipe, take photos, enjoy together. It's a creative, joyful and comforting moment!

What do you think are the best places in Paris to spend time with the family?
Children’s pastry workshops, for example with pastry chef Jeffrey Cagnes.
Playful parks like the Jardin d’Acclimatation, perfect after a sweet treat.
Cozy coffee shops with sweet options and a children’s corner.
Weekend gourmet markets to find fresh products while having fun.
